Judith A. Kraemer

April 19, 1959 — October 20, 2016

Judith Ann Kraemer, 57, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Froedtert Hospital after a brave fight with a heart and lung disease. Judy was born April 19, 1959 to Charles and Eleanor “Ellie” Balnis. She graduated from Goodrich High School in 1979. She met and fell in love with Matthew Kraemer in September of 1981. They shared their love and friendship together for 35 years. They were married on August 27, 2002 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Though they could not have children of their own, Judy devoted her life to caring for children. She loved babysitting and always loved to have children around her. She so loved children, she devoted six years of her life to help raise Alivia S. She loved to teach children to read, write, and especially to use their manners.

Judy loved camping with family and friends, going on trips with her parents, picnics, family get togethers, going out to eat, music, dancing, golfing, and especially her cooking shows.

She will be so missed for her love of life, children, family, and her dog, Brandy. There now is a special Angel in heaven helping God to take care of all his children.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Matt; her brother, Charles Balnis of Chapala, Mexico; her sister, Linda (Marty) Hoffman of Helena, MT; eleven brothers-in-law; twelve sisters-in-law; 43 nieces and nephews which she loved and babysat for most of them; 41 great nieces and nephews; and by all the children she loved and cared for as if they were her own. As she makes that final voyage home to join her parents she will be missed by so many here on earth. She was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law, Keith Kraemer and sister-in-law, Margie Kraemer.

The visitation will take place on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 10:00 am until 12 noon at Holy Family Church – Holy Family Parish, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at the church at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials made to Children’s Miracle Network in Judy’s name would be appreciated.

The family extends a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Froedtert for their exceptional care of Judy in her time of need.
