June 7, 1924 — September 15, 2013

June C. Singleton, age 89, died Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Grancare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on June 7, 1924 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of James and Emily (LePine) Balthazor. She married Glenn J. Singleton at St. Patrick's Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1987. June was a member of Holy Family Parish. She enjoyed crocheting, playing dominos, bingo, and sheepshead, and loved watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers, and also watching the Milwaukee Brewers.Survivors include two daughters, Michele (Ted) Agnello of Fond du Lac, Deborah (Michael) Turner of Fond du Lac, grandchildren, Jodi Beauchene, Nan Abell, Glenn Singleton, Christina Singleton, David Singleton, Tanya (Quico) Ayala, and Travis Turner, who gave June so much happiness in her life; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, DuWayne (Mary) Balthazor of Merritt Island, FL; brother in law, John Miller of Fond du Lac; half sister, Mary (James) Trepanier of Van Dyne; step-sisters, Barbara (Jake) Waldvogel of Phoenix, AZ, and Audrey (Don) Heinger of Antigo, WI; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Emily Balthazor, her husband, Glenn Singleton, one son, Ron Singleton, one infant granddaughter, Olivia Singleton, one grandson Rick Singleton, sister, Audrey Miller, infant brother, Leonard Balthazor, step-sister, Susie Koeppel.



FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Church, 271 4th St. Way, Fond du Lac. Cremation has taken place and interment will follow at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.Special thanks to Dr. Sergi and his staff, Agnesian Hospice, and especially the staff at Grancare for all the wonderful care and compassion they have all given June.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.Additional information and guestbook can be found at www.ueckerwitt.comUecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
