June Marie Steinbarth

June Marie Steinbarth, 91 formerly of the Fond du Lac area died March 13, 2013 Lili Assisted Living, Rothschild, WI. She was born on June 6, 1921 in Appleton, WI. the daughter of Arthur and Mary Paton Guthu. On December 20, 1952 she married John Steinbarth in Byron, WI. John preceded her in death on October 20, 1998. She served in the United States Coast Guard from 1943-45 in San Francisco, CA. June went on the "Never Forgotten Honor Flight" out of Wausau, WI in April 2010. She was a seamstress at Brauer's retiring in 1986. June was a member of St. John's Catholic Church (Sons of Zebedee) in Byron. She enjoyed sewing, collecting and making dolls and doll clothes, knitting and crocheting.SURVIVORS: She is survived by a daughter, Laura "Laurie" Hood, Wausau, one sister Ardy (Richard) Koteski, Cedarburg, WI, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Hellan Christianson.



VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 12-2:30 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Memorial services will be held at 2:30 PM, Sunday, April 7, 2013 with Call Missionary Mark Hefter officiating. Cremation has taken place.
