Kenneth J. Lawlis

Kenneth J. Lawlis, 66, of 385 Doty Street, died Sunday, March 12, 2006, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born June 10,1939, in Milwaukee, the son of Albert and Beverly Venne Lawlis. Mr. Lawlis was formerly employed by Xerox Corporation for 18 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving as an aircraft electrician at March Air Force Base in Riverside, CA. Ken was a former Big Brother and member of the Noon Optimist Club. He was always was striving for self-improvement and enjoyed reading poetry, memorizing famous quotes, and always appreciated a good joke or story. Surviving are two daughters, Selena (Tom) Fuhrmann of Oshkosh and Roberta "Bobbi" (Pat) Zyduck of North Fond du Lac, a grandson, Drew Kartos of North Fond du Lac, two sisters, Pat Horn of Fresno, CA, and Beverly Lawlis of Colfax, CA, and nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is further survived by special friends Tom "TC" Allen of Kansas, Mark Meier of Idaho, the Dan Sullivan family of Fond du Lac, and Lynda Bacon Lawlis and Ruby Roberts, both of Fond du Lac. His parents, a brother-in-law, Herman "Ray" Horn, and a nephew, Isiah, preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. Kenneth J. Lawlis will be on Wednesday, March 15, 2006, from 3 to 7 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 7 pm at the funeral home on Wednesday. The Rev.
