Kristopher Lee Bosio

November 8, 1977 — October 7, 2021

Kristopher Lee Bosio passed away suddenly at his family home on October 7, 2021. He was born and grew up in Midland, Michigan in 1977. Throughout this time he was active in Boy Scouts, earning his Eagle rank. After high school, he earned his degree at Western Michigan University and started his career near Detroit, Michigan.

In 2005, he changed jobs to join Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. It was not long after when he met his wife Lisa and they soon were married. Together they have two daughters, Emma and Lauren. Kris was an amazing and dedicated father and husband, prioritizing his girls above anything. He was a lone man in a house full of girls and always said he wouldn't change that for anything. He was the girls play buddy, their comedian, their best friend and their coach. There is nothing he wouldn't do for them and constantly sacrificed his own needs and desires to give them the best. He lived his life foremost for others and especially for his wife and his daughters.

Kris was a passionate and skilled fisher, either in the trout streams of Michigan or in Lake Winnebago. He loved teaching his girls how to fish and enjoyed the outdoors. If there was a chance of seeing a Salmon, we stopped at that stream. Over the last few years, he had become increasingly involved in coaching Emma's softball teams. Kris and Emma had a shared passion for sports and were each others play buddies. Kris also relished his role in entertaining his mini-Kris, Lauren, and playing legos with her. The two of them together provided a full night of comedy for the family. He always made his girls laugh and feel loved.

Kris is survived by his wife and best friend, Lisa, and two daughters, Emma and Lauren. He is also survived by his mother, Gail Staisil and brother Ryan (Sandy) Bosio. He lost his father, Robert Bosio late last year. He was also preceded in death by both sets of grandparents.

The family is welcoming people to Ascension Lutheran Church, 901 County Rd V, Fond du Lac, WI 54935 on Friday afternoon, October 15, 2021, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. As a sign of respect for Kris, the family is asking that people adhere to social distancing and wearing masks to avoid spreading Covid. We ask that you bring Emma and Lauren a single flower to give instead of a hug. If you know Kris, you know that he didn't like going anywhere that he couldn't wear his hoodie and Adidas pants. The visitation will follow that by being casual dress. We ask that everyone wear something from one of their favorite sports teams, professional or local. However, out of respect for Kris there will be no Packers, or green and gold attire allowed. GO BEARS!

Services are in the care of Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave., Fond du Lac, WI 54935. Additional information and guestbook can be found at ueckerwitt.com
