Kurt D. Wilde, 47 of Fond du Lac, passed away at Harbor Haven Rehabilitation Center, Fond du Lac on March 3, 2014. He was born on September 27, 1966 in Fond du Lac the son of Donald R. and Elaine J. Schmidt Wilde. Kurt lived most of his adult life in Fond du Lac. He graduated from Goodrich High School and graduated from Brown University in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he trained to be a broadcaster. Kurt worked as a broadcaster in Atlantic, Iowa. Later Kurt struggled with health problems but he maintained a positive attitude and never complained. He never lost his adept sense of humor. He enjoyed music and family events. He could recite or sing the lyrics of most popular songs. Kurt enjoyed going to the family cottage in Vilas County and catching crappies in Heart Lake. SURVIVORS: Kurt is survived by his parents Donald and Elaine Wilde, Fond du Lac, three brothers, Bill (Sue) Wilde, Neshkoro, Scott Wilde, Fond du Lac, and David Wilde, Freemont.



VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 3 to 4 PM at Community United Methodist Church, 701 Minnesota Avenue, North Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Community United Methodist Church, North Fond du Lac. Reverend Justin Lowe will officiate. Cremation has taken place.Memorials would be appreciated in Kurt's name to NAMI of Fond du Lac or Community United Methodist Church of North Fond du Lac."Kurt resides in heaven where he plans to meet up with friends and family at the big bridge".Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
