Kurt G. Hardie

Kurt G. Hardie, age 61, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, October 7, 2022, at his residence. He was born on March 5, 1961, in Franklin, WI, the son of John and Betty (Hoida) Hardie. On June 4, 1983, Kurt married Lori Westphal at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Kurt worked for Milk Specialties. He was a member of the Fond du Lac Yacht Club and Fond du Lac Boating Club. In his spare time Kurt enjoyed boating, hunting, and fishing. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and his dog Bella.

Survivors include his wife, Lori; three children, Melissa (Michael) O’Donnell, Kelly (Russ Boodry) Grover, David (Katie) Hardie; four grandchildren, Jacob Krause, Breyden Hardie, Emilee Grover, Michael O’Donnell III; mother-in-law, Janet “Jan” Westphal; his siblings, Kit (Sandy) Hardie, Keith (Connie) Hardie; brother-in-law, Kevin (Patti) Westphal; his dog, Bella; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by parents; father-in-law, David Westphal.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, from 3-7 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 1600 S. Main St, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Visitation will take place on Wednesday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Burial will take place at Ledgeview Memorial Park.
