Larry A. Kimpel

Larry A. Kimpel, 67, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, December 14, 2018 at St. Agnes Hospital following complications after heart surgery. He was born September 1, 1951 in Fond du Lac, the son of Lawrence and Lois Dunton Kimpel. Larry graduated from Goodrich High School Class of 1969. On September 1, 1973 he married Nancy S. Huelsman at Luther Memorial. Larry owned and operated Liquid Lounge in Fond du Lac and Moonrunners in Taycheedah until his retirement in 2014. After retirement he worked part time for A to Z Vending. He was a member of the Fond du Lac Eagles Aerie #270. He enjoyed listening to classic rock music, woodworking, cooking for his family, watching the Packers and Brewers, and loved spending time with his grandsons.



He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two daughters, Misty Kimpel and Shannon Ratzel, both of Fond du Lac; two grandsons, Mason and McCoy; two sisters, Sandy Summers of Sheboygan Falls and Debbie Horton of Berlin; two brothers, Steve (Dot) Kimpel of Arlington, TX and Douglas Dunton of Beaver Dam; and his dogs, Simon and Jack. He was preceded in death by his parents.



The visitation will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
