Lawrence "Larry" L. Wagner

Lawrence “Larry” Leo Wagner, 56, a resident of the Town of Empire, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at his residence. He was born August 12, 1960, in Fond du Lac, the son of Benno and Bernice Braun Wagner. After attending St. Joseph Grade School in St. Joe, he graduated from New Holstein High. He later attended Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac. Lawrence founded and operated Reilly/Wagner Real Estate and Wagner Appraisal Company. He was President of Bravo Productions. His love of the Green Bay Packers was well known and he currently had one of the most outstanding collections of Packer memorabilia.

Surviving are his children, Jonathan Ben Wagner of Naples, FL, Brittany Beth and Brooke Beth Wagner, both of Chicago, IL, his father, Benno (Florence) Wagner of Fond du Lac, his brothers and sisters, Joe “Smoky” Wagner of St. Cloud, Dan “Frisco” (Betty) Wagner of St. Cloud, Bette (Randy) Backhaus of Oakfield, Gary (Jan) Wagner of St. Joe, and Joan Wagner of Wausau, Tom (Mary) Wagner of Oshkosh, and Randy “Bronson” Wagner of St. Cloud, sister-in-law, Kathleen Wagner of Mt. Calvary. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including his former-wife, Shelly Reilly Stayer of Naples, FL. He was preceded in death by his mother, and a brother, Paul.

Visitation for Lawrence “Larry” Leo Wagner will be on Friday, October 21, 2016, from 4 to 8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Avenue Fond du Lac, and again on Saturday, October 22, 2016, from 9 to 10 AM at Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at the church at 10:00 AM. Entombment in the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum will follow the services. The family requests the memorials be directed to Reilly’s Ranch of Recovery, N4590 Highway 45, Eden, WI 53019. Following the entombment services, a Celebration of Larry’s life will be held at South Hills Golf and Country Club, 1175 Fond du Lac Avenue, Fond du Lac.
