LeRoy H. Schulz, 83, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, May 5, 2014, at the Hospice Home of Hope. He was born September 20, 1930, in Fond du Lac, the son of Hugo and Edna Kuehnemann Schulz. LeRoy was a 1948 graduate of North Fond du Lac High School and later graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1953. He was a veteran of the US Army serving as an instructor at the US Army Engineer School at Fort Belvoir, VA from 1953 to 1955. On September 5, 1953, he married Helen P. Fitzpatrick at St. Joseph's Church. LeRoy was formerly employed by Giddings & Lewis for 35 years, retiring in 1988, and was a member of the G & L Oldsters. He was a member of Holy Family Parish.Surviving is his wife, Helen, of Fond du Lac, a daughter, Lee Ann Iggulden of Missoula, MT, two granddaughters, Holly (Alex) Dodgson of Portland, OR, and Heather (Jeremy) Lore of Knoxville, TN, a grandson, Scott (Zuzana) Olson of Portland, OR, and two great-grandsons, Sean and Nathan Lore of Knoxville, TN. He is further survived by his sister, Eugenia Arthurs of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.



Visitation for LeRoy H. Schulz will be on Friday, May 9, 2014, from 10 to 11 AM at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday at the church. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment of cremated remains will be in Calvary Cemetery.
