Lillian R. Rhodes, age 96 of 288 East Scott Street, died Monday, October 26, 2009 at her residence. She was born May 17, 1913 in Germania, Marquette County, WI the daughter of Gustave and Alma Prus Lueck. On November 9, 1935 she married George E. Rhodes at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of Forest. George preceded her in death on March 4, 1969. Lillian worked at Tolibia Cheese for a number of years. She was a member of St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church. Lillian was an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and was an excellent sewer.SURVIVORS: She is survived by two daughters Janet Raeder, Town of Greenbush, and Alice (William) Schmitz, Mount Calvary, a daughter in law, Marilyn Rhodes of Oconomowoc, six grandchildren; Kim (Garry) Preder, Mark (Leigh) Raeder, Jennifer (Nic) Noster, Scott (Karen) Schmitz, Steven Schmitz, Brian (Briana) Rhodes, four great-grandchildren; Katie and Eric Schmitz, Ethan and Preston Raeder. Other niecesand nephews especially Marion Flood and JoAnn Ahrens. Her parents preceded Lillian in death, husband, a son Myron Rhodes, a son-in-law Ronald Raeder, five brothers and four sisters.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 from 5 to 7 PM at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1600 South Main Street, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM at the church with Reverend Jon Cox officiating. Burial will be in Lyons Forest Home Cemetery, Town of Forest.Memorials appreciated to St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
