Lois S. Schwartz

March 10, 1923 — November 10, 2012

Lois S. Schwartz, age 89, formerly of 515 W. Scott St, Fond du Lac for fifty-five years, and currently a resident of Tarfa Terrace, the assisted living portion of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on March 10, 1923 in Shawano, the daughter of Arnold Sr. and Flora (Martin) Albertz. On October 1, 1949 she married Lester R. Schwartz at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on October 28, 2003.Lois worked various jobs prior to raising her children. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, and embroidery. She also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and was an avid camper. She was a member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac.SURVIVORS: two sons, Gregory (Doris Kemnetz) Schwartz of Fond du Lac, Raymond (Tess) Schwartz of Fond du Lac, three grandchildren, Steven and Tom Schwartz of Fond du Lac, and Katie Shea of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, one great-grandchild, Riley Shea, four sisters, Lorraine Bender of Fond du Lac, June Schaetzel of Fond du Lac, Ruth "Tootie" (Wayne Kaiser) Albertz of Fond du Lac, Elaine Lamb of Fond du Lac, brother in law, Francis (Gindt) Schwartz of Fond du Lac, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lester, three brothers, and two sisters.



VISITATION: Friday, November 16, 2012 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, 1600 S. Main St, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Friday, November 16, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church with the Reverend Matthew Guse officiating. Entombment will follow at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to St. Peter's Ev.
