Lorraine D. Crabb

Lorraine D. Crabb, age 93, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, December 17, 2018 at Artisan Assisted Living in Fond du Lac. She was born on November 10, 1925, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Anton and Christina (Loehr) Kiersten. On September 11, 1948, she married Edward P. Crabb. He preceded her in death on February 18, 2012. Edward and Lorraine owned and operated Lakeside Service Station in Fond du Lac. They were longtime members of the Catholic War Veterans and also lifetime members of Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac. Lorraine worked at McKnights Drug Store, Infant Socks, and then at Miles Kimball. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, painting, knitting, baking, canning, playing cards, working outdoors, and most of all enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.



She is survived by nine children, Gerald Crabb of Elkhart, IN, Elaine (Gary) Colton of Fond du Lac, Sharon (Norman) Priepke of Rochester, IN, Rhonda (Steve) Giebel of Kaukauna, Theodore (Harmony) Crabb of Abilene, TX, Anthony Crabb of Merrill, Donald (Julie) Crabb of Ormond Beach, FL, Lori (Scott) Jage of Oshkosh, and Colleen (Douglas) Waterworth of Fall River, twenty-three grandchildren, fifty-three great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Phyllis Kiersten of Sun Prairie; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Christina; her step-mothers, Amanda Rottman and Vida Sampson; her husband, Edward; two infant daughter, Bernice Marie and Mary Margaret; one brother, Robert Kiersten; one grandson, EN2(SW) Marc Ian McKee Nieto.



Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 20, 2018, from 4-7 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, December 21, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Presentation Church, 705 Michigan Ave, North Fond du Lac, WI, 54937. Visitation will also take place on Friday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Entombment will follow at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum.
