Lorraine M. Fleischman

Lorraine M. Fleischman, 89 of Fond du Lac and a resident of the St. Francis Home for the past six months died Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the home. She was born on February 21, 1925 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Max and Frances Gayhart Hilbert. On March 15, 1946 she married Arthur N. Fleischman in Fond du Lac. Arthur preceded her in death on March 11, 1993. Lorraine was a graduate of St. Mary’s Springs High School. She worked in Milwaukee in secretarial work. Later she worked as a secretary with the Wisconsin Home for Women in Taycheedah. She later worked with Carl L. Brandt Insurance Company as a administrative assistant. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. Agnes Hospital Auxiliary and the Fond du Lac Elks Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gambling at the casinos and loved playing bridge with her friends.



SURVIVOR: Lorraine is survived by two sons, Ronald (Dee) Fleischman, North Fond du Lac and Jerry (Lori Esterly) Fleischman, Superior, three grandchildren, Robert (fiancé Karen Hanson) Fleischman, Sheboygan Falls, Jim (Michelle) Fleischman, New Holstein, and Richard Fleischman, Trego. She is further survived by three great-grandchildren Nicholas,Sadie and Alex. She was preceded in death by her parents husband, two brothers, Raymond and Frank Hilbert.



VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 1:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the St. Francis Home Chapel, 33 Everett Street, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Memorial services will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at the St. Francis Home Chapel with Reverend Adrian Staehler officiating. Cremation has taken place with inurnment in the Chapel of The Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
