Malita J. Patchett

Malita J. Patchett, 92, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Adelaide Place. She was born January 12, 1926 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Sam and Loretta Leet Shaw. On July 8, 1944 she married Louis Patchett at Division Street Methodist Church and he preceded her in death on August 7, 1985. She was a member of Church of Peace. Malita enjoyed playing bingo, watching television, cooking, and taking care of her family.



She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Jerome) Boehlen of Fond du Lac; granddaughter, Rebecca Coleman of Phillipsburg, NJ; grandson, Matthew (Rosie) Reinke of Eldorado; grandson-in-law, Robert Coleman of Stewartsville, NJ; great granddaughters, Bria Reinke and Sarah Coleman. She is further survived by step grandchildren, Debbie (Pat) Doney, Diana Kelly, and Jan Boehlen; numerous step great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Iona Shaw of Fond du Lac and Dorothy Patchett of Fond du Lac; special family, Larry and Debbie Conger of Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis; step grandson, Jerry Boehlen Jr.; sister, Charmaine (Dan) LaShay; brother, Sam Shaw; sister-in-law, Ella (Henry) Schmidt; brother-in-laws, Harold Patchett, Elmer (Marcella) Patchett, Paul (Viola) Henke, Leo (Doris) Henke; and special companion, Frankie Conger.



The visitation will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at Church of Peace. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Church of Peace. Burial will follow in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.



The family extends a special thank you to Heartland Hospice, the staff at Adelaide Place, and Lakeland Care for all the love, compassion, and care for my mom while living at Adelaide Place.
