Marcella M. Kelley

April 7, 1919 — July 21, 2008

Marcella Mae Kelley, age 89 formerly of Rogersville and a resident of St. Francis Terrace and Home, died Monday, July 21, 2008 at the St. Francis Home. She was born in Lamartine on April 7, 1919 the daughter of George and Sadie Delger Fisher. On June 13,1946 she married Edward Kelley. With Edward they farmed for more than 30 years. Marcella graduated from Fond du Lac High School Class of 1937. She graduated from Oshkosh Teachers College in 1939 and taught in rural schools. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1970 from Marian College. She was a teacher in the Rosendale-Brandon School District for 12 years. She was a member of Our Risen Savior Church in Woodhull. Marcella enjoyed ceramics, sewing, traveling and spending time with her family,Survivors include Marcella's children, Sharon (Al) Marifke, Greenfield, Margaret Kelley (friend Tom Kulibert) Fond du Lac, William Kelley, Fond du Lac, David (Lynette) Kelley, Grafton, Sue (Terry) Duel, Eldorado, Sandra Kelley, Ithaca, New York, Daniel (Ann) Kelley, Racine, Kristine (Brian) Greve, Rosendale, son-in-law, Dennis Mand, Fond du Lac, twenty-two grandchildren, Craig (Jenny) and Jon Marifke, Pamela (Donald) Ehrhardt, David Prey, Sara, Eric, and Kevin Mand, Justin and Stephen Kelley, Melissa (Tyler) Kunz, Scott, Michael (Elizabeth), Samantha, and Katherine Kelley, Tim (Kelly), Adam, and Nicole Duel, Rachel and Erika Kelley, Ashley, Noah and Carter Greve. Nine great grandchildren, Terran Mand-Winfield , Josie, Jackson, Julia, and J.D. Kunz, Bryce and Gavin Marifke, Cody and Alex Duel, three sisters Ruth Lauerman , McAllister, OK, Delores Fogarty , Lincoln, CA, Jean (Leo) Costello, Greendale, three brothers, Darwin Fisher, Fond du Lac, Clifford Fisher, Fond du Lac, and Clayton (Rosie) Fisher, Fond du Lac, two sisters-in-law, Helen (Ed) Binstock, Rantoul, IL, and Genevieve Fisher, St. Cloud. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward in 2007, a daughter, Patricia Mand in 2004, two brothers, Gordon Fisher, and James Fisher, three brothers-in law, Roland Kelley, John Lauerman, and John Fogarty, three sisters-in-law Cele Fisher, Rita Fisher, and Eileen Kelley.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 from 4 to 8:00 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 10:00 A. M. at St. Francis Home Chapel with Reverend Vernon Wagner officiating. Entombment will follow at the Chapel of The Risen Christ Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the nursing home chapel from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services on Thursday.Special thanks to the Hospice Hope, and St. Francis Terrace and Home.Memorials appreciated to American Cancer Society Relay For Life, Patty's Gang.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
