Margaret M. Schunck

Margaret M. Schunck, 89, of 1840 N. Prospect Avenue, Milwaukee, died Thursday, February 9, 2006, at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital. She was born November 8, 1916, in Milwaukee, the daughter of State Senator and Supreme Court Justice William F. Quick, and his wife Margaret Lutzen Quick. In 1946, she married Everett Schunck. He preceded her in death in 1984. Upon graduation from the State Teachers College in Milwaukee she taught kindergarten in the Milwaukee School System for 35 years. She was an honorary member of the Sherwood Men's Club. Margaret was an avid reader who loved word games, and enjoyed being a world traveler.Surviving is a niece, Mary Cary of Fond du Lac, a grandniece, Mary Liz (J.R.) Julka, a grandnephew, John William Cary, a great-nephew, John Richard Julka Jr., and a great-niece, Kathleen Cary Julka all of Fond du Lac. A brother, James Quick, of Bakersfield, CA also survives. Her parents, husband, a brother, William, and her niece's husband, Bill Cary, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Margaret M. Schunck will be on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, from 10 to 11 am at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Chapel of the Chimes. Liturgy of the Word services will be at 11 am in the chapel. Deacon Jan Kwiatkowski will officiate and burial will follow. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N.
