Marian Mae Hilgendorf went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, October 7, 2010, surrounded by her family, following a lengthy battle with cancer. Marian was born on May 9, 1933 in Cumberland, Wisconsin, to Pastor Paul & Edna (Soltau) Schedler. On June 13, 1954, she married Hilbert Hilgendorf in Kaukauna, WI. She faithfully served side by side with her husband as he pastored congregations in Minnesota and Wisconsin.Marian was a godly woman who loved and served her family and friends with kindness and grace. She is survived by her husband, Pastor Hilbert Hilgendorf, Fond du Lac; daughters Lynne (Chema) Paba, Neenah; Terri (Gaylund) Stone, Fredonia; Lori (Chris) Reid, Austin, TX; and son Mark (Lisa) Hilgendorf, Green Bay; grandchildren Colleen (Aaron) Early, Rachel (Ephraim) Jacobson, Caleb Dissmore, Laura, David and Matthew Stone, Garrett Reid, Greta & Emma Hilgendorf, and great-grandchildren Hayli Merka, Micah Jacobson and Dillan Early.Also survived by brother Paul (Donna) Schedler; and sisters Lorraine Schroeder; Phyllis (John) Jungers; Kathy Stauffer, and Janet Mitts; and brothers and sisters-in-law Rosalind (Ken) Westphal, Gertie (Bill) Bessert, Ed (Clare) Hilgendorf, Gene (Mary) Hilgendorf and Eunice (Ken) Sands, aunt Minna Thames, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.Marian was preceded in death by her parents, parents in-law, a granddaughter Emily Stone, brothers-in-law Victor Hilgendorf and Harvey Schroeder, and nieces Pamela Bessert and Joanne Schroeder.



Visitation for Mrs. Marian Hilgendorf will be on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, from 4 to 8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Avenue, Fond du Lac, and on Wednesday, October 13th from 9 to 11 AM at Hope Lutheran Church, 260 Vincent Street, Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be at 11 AM at the church on Wednesday. Reverend Steve Huff will officiate. Entombment will be in the All Faiths Garden Mausoleum, Rienzi Cemetery.
