Marjorie A. Flitcroft

November 16, 1926 — January 28, 2009

Marjorie A. Flitcroft, 82, of 296 Bischoff Street, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at Froedtert Lutheran Memorial Hospital in Wauwatosa. She was born November 16, 1926, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Arthur J. and Cecelia Meifert Deitte. On December 23, 1944, she married Joseph F. Flitcroft at Amarillo Air Force Base in Amarillo, TX. Mrs. Flitcroft was a member of Holy Family Parish where she was a volunteer. She was formerly employed by J.C. Penney as a sales associate for 45 years. Her greatest joy was to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving is her husband of 64 years, Joseph, three sons, Charles A. (Special Friend (Bonnie) Flitcroft, of Fond du Lac, Michael J. (Vicky) Flitcroft of Rockford, IA, and Richard (Special Friend Michelle) Flitcroft of Fond du Lac, a daughter, Christine M. McGrath of Park Falls, WI, six grandchildren, Candace (Kevin) Koenigs, Stephanie Flitcroft, Chas (Fiancé Lynn) Flitcroft, Shawn Flitcroft, Tracy (Chad) McDonough, and Philip (Kathleen) McGrath, and eight great-grandchildren, Taylor, Kennedy, and Reagan Koenigs, Nicholas and Katelyn Flitcroft, Logan and Kelsey McDonough, and Ridley Flitcroft. She is further survived by a brother, Dale (Barbara) Deitte of Fond du Lac, a sister, Joan (Lee) Spak of Warren, OH, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Her parents, and a nephew, Todd Deitte, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Marjorie A. Flitcroft will be on Sunday, February 1, 2009, from 1 to 5 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and on Monday, February 2nd from 10 to 11 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Peter. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am at the church on Monday. The Rev. Carmelo Giuffre will officiate and burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery.
