Marjorie L. Baldauf, 71 of 613 Ledgeview Boulevard, died Thursday, March 29, 2007 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on October 8, 1935 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Herbert J. and Ethel E. Coyne Ottery. On June 16, 1956 she married James "Jim" M. Baldauf at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. On June 16, 2006 they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Marjorie taught school in Byron, Oakfield, Lamartine and later in Fond du Lac at Rosenow and Roberts Elementary Schools from where she retired after 30 years of teaching. She was a life-long member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church. Marjorie was a member of NEA and a past member of South Hills Country Club. She volunteered for 20 years at St. Agnes Hospital in the Shampoo Department and was active in the Love Light program. She enjoyed playing softball and bowling. Marjorie was a graduate of Marian College.She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" M. Baldauf, Fond du Lac, two brothers, Tom (Jane) Ottery, Fond du Lac, and Jerry (Louise) Ottery, Armstrong, two sisters, Pat Basler, a resident of the St. Francis Home, and Alice Immel, Dotyville, several nieces and nephews. Marjorie is further survived by her "special church grandchildren," Karli and Katelyn, children of Eric and Chris Gross, Fond du Lac. Her parents, two broth-in-laws, Gordon Immel and George "Jack" Basler, and one sister-in-law Mary Ottery , preceded her in death.



Visitation will be held on Monday, April 2, 2007 from 3 to 8 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at 10: 00 A.M. at the funeral home and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Family "“St. Joseph's Church with Reverend Patrick Heppe officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:00 A.M. until the time of prayers at the funeral home.Memorials appreciated to the American Heart Association or Holy Family Parish Building Fund.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
