Marjorie R. Hoffman

Marjorie R. Hoffman, 87, of Fond du Lac, died on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Hospice Home of hope. She was born on August 28, 1933, in Eden, the daughter of Lawrence and Esther (Kroll) Marx. Marjorie was a graduate of L.P. Goodrich in 1951. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Fond du Lac. She enjoyed playing bingo, knitting, baking her famous chocolate chip cookies, and making Christmas candy, which she shared amongst her friends and family.



She is survived by four children; Roseanne Barth of Manchester, TN, Jim (Mary) Hoffman of Fond du Lac, Barb (Mark) Mueller of Venice, FL, and David (fiancée, Jackie Weinke) Hoffman of Fond du Lac; eight grandchildren, Julie (Don) Roberts, Christopher (Summer) Hoffman, Jessica (Adam) Kopischke, Katrina (Brian) Resop, Tim (Catie Beck) Hoffman, Chad (Ashley) Wendt, Brett (Leslie) Wendt and Jakob Hoffman; nine great grandchildren, Cheyenne (Eric), Logan, Revan, Stellan, Claesson, Logan, Carter, Landon and Miles; two great great grandchildren, Oliver and Amelia; two siblings, Myrtle “Sis” Hawley and Charles “Tom” (Carol) Marx; sister-in-law, Delores Marx; dear friend and neighbor, Harriet Edwards; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jerome “Jerry” (Diane) Hoffman; three brothers, Jim, Richard, and Jerome Marx; sister, Marian Leonhardt; and brother-in-law, James Hawley.



The visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Holy Family Parish, 200 South Peters Avenue, Fond du Lac. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur at church following the visitation at 11:00 AM. Cremation has taken place.



Memorials can be made in Marjorie’s name to Hospice Home of Hope and Holy Family Parish.
