Mary A. Mohr

January 28, 1936 — June 15, 2021

Mary Mohr has entered the pastures of heaven on June 15th, 2021, at the age of 85. Mary had a great life. She was blessed to have her loving husband, Jack, on her side for 65 years. Mary and Jack raised 4 kids. Julie Mohr, Jack (Patty) Mohr Jr., Jill (Patrick) Lemke, and Jayne Mohr. She adored her 6 grandkids, Casey (Mike) Pichette, Reid (Meggie) Simons, Leah (Matt) Loehr, Kaitlyn Mohr, Dana Lemke, and Davis Lemke. Mary also had 7 great grandkids, Maddy, Thomas and Louis Simons, Landon and Hadley Loehr and Miles and Odin Pichette. Mary also loved her dear dog Molly. Mary had an incredible career. She spent many years working with kids with special needs. She was an excellent cook and baker too. Her Christmas cookies were delicious. Mary loved to go up north to one of the many cottages they had throughout the years. She was so gracious, always inviting the family and cooking for us. Mary also had a love for horses. She enjoyed riding and showing and had many quarter horses throughout her life. Some of her best vacations were Florida and Colorado. If the Brewers or Nascar were on, she was sure to be watching. In her later years, Mary and Jack spent special moments hiking the Kettle Moraine and visiting the Horicon Marsh. Mary enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved the morning sun, watering the flowers and reading a good book. She exercised everyday doing yoga at the YMCA. Mary was a strong woman who never complained about anything.

A special thank you to the caring staff at the Hospice Home of Hope and Dr. Gabriel Litman. Our dear friend who took such good care of her throughout the years. A private celebration will be held at a later date. Next time you look up at the morning sun, tell Mary good morning, and as my mother always said, “ Have a good day!”
