Mary B. Hess, age 85, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at The Harbor House in Fond du Lac. She was born on February 21, 1921 at Porter, Minnesota, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Boulton. She graduated from Minneota High School and was a legal secretary at the Minnesota State Highway Department in St. Paul. On September 25, 1948 she married Alvin Hess in Minneota, MN. She was a member of the Church of the Presentation B.V.M. in North Fond du Lac and she attended Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church. She was a volunteer with St. Agnes Hospice Hope for fifteen years.SURVIVORS: her husband Alvin of Fond du Lac, four daughters, Linda (special friend Jeff Wolf) Wendt of Van Dyne, Jackie (Charles) Gruenke of Sheboygan, Julie (Dick) Peterson of Fond du Lac, Lisa (Mani) Cornejo of Lake Forest, CA, three sons, Don (Nancy) Hess of Plover, Jim (Denise) Hess of Eden, Joe (Charlene) Hess of Fond du Lac, twenty-one grandchildren, Shawn (Heather) Wendt, Ann (Lance) Ziemer, Jessica, Tony, and Theresa Gruenke, Brian, Tim, Sam, Elizabeth, and Lindy Hess, Joanna, Judy, Jimmy, Joy, Daniel, Josiah, David, Jonathon, Joshua Hess, and Ethan and Alaina Hess, five great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Owen, and Kalista Ziemer, Zachary and Sawyer Wendt, her brothers, Robert (Helen), Leonard (Betty), and John (Corrine) all of Minnesota, her sisters, Esther (Jack) McLaughlin of Marshall, MN and Joan (Harold) Regnier of Rochester, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Judy in 1957, one sister, Ruth Jerzak, one brother, Robert Boulton, one grandson, Nathan Gruenke on December 20, 1978.



VISITATION: Saturday, December 23, 2006 from 9:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Saturday, December 23, 2006 at 1:30 P.M. at Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church with the Reverend Jim Jaeger officiating. Prayers will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 P.M. Cremation will follow the services with inurnment to take place at a later date at Lakeview Memorial Park, Oshkosh.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
