Mary C. Monday

Mary C. Monday, 67, of North Fond du Lac, died Sunday, May 7, 2023, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born in Fond du Lac on October 2, 1955, a daughter of Arthur and Lillian (Kralik) Saltzwadel.

Mary loved playing bingo, poker, and sheepshead. She retired from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office as a cook in the jail. Above all, Mary loved her grandchildren and cherished her time with them.

Survivors include her two sons, Steve (Summer) Lange and their children, Prestin, Violette, Harmonie, and Scarlet, and Luke Lange (fiancée Amber Grube) and their children, Lane, Leif, and Lyle; two sisters, Debbie (Jeff) Vollstedt and Karen (Frank) Abitz; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Monday; a sister, Jeanne Ruff; the father of her children, Robert Lange; and her fur baby, Buster.

Visitation will be held from 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.

The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to Mary’s in-home nurse, Trisha, for the care and compassion she gave to Mary.
