Mary J. Hodgden

Mary Jean Hodgden, 79, formerly of 258 Rose Avenue, died Tuesday, August 05, 2008, at All About Life Rehabilitation Center where she had been a resident since February of this year. She was born July 9, 1929, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of George L. and Josephine Stephany Anders. On May 26, 1951, she married Kenneth L. Hodgden at St. Mary's Church. Mrs. Hodgden was a member of Holy Family Parish. She enjoyed bowling, sheepshead, crossword puzzles, collecting owls, and going to the casinos. Surviving is her husband, Kenneth, a son, Donald (Chris) Hodgden of Fond du Lac, a daughter, Wendy (Steve) Rhode of Fond du Lac, six grandchildren, Jason(Special Friend Collette), Scott (Kelly) Nick (Andrea) and Jarred (Special Friend Maureen) Hodgden, and Eric and Michael Rhode, and two great-grandchildren, Lexi and Tyler Hodgden. A sister, Vivian Randerson of Calumetville, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends further survive her. Her parents and a brother, Walter Anders preceded her in death.



Private family services were held on Friday, August 8, 2008, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of St. Agnes Hospital and also the staff and residents of All About Life Rehabilitation Center.
