MILTON A. STARKMilton A. Stark, age 83 formerly of 519 Luco Road, died Saturday, November 12,2005 at ManorCare Health Service where he had been a resident for the past 1 ½ years. Milton was born in Milwaukee on January 28,1922 the son of George M. and Alma Hardtke Stark. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War serving in the U.S. Navy. Milton was employed with Wisconsin Bell for 32 years retiring on August 4,1978. Born in Milwaukee he also lived in Sheboygan from 1951 when he moved to Fond du Lac in 1963. In August of 1979 they moved to Hiles, WI and returned to Fond du Lac in 1989. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and served as president of the Dairyland Council and the Northern Lights Chapter Pioneers. He delivered meals on wheels, a docent for Galloway House. Milton was a member of the American Legion, Fond du Lac Stamp Club. He enjoyed fishing, camping, attending U.S. Navy Ship Reunions, stamp collecting, crossing the Equator, and being to all 50 states.SURVIVORS: wife, Anita Stark, Fond du Lac, four children, Wayne (Yvonne) Stark, Mayville, Gary (Pam) Stark, North Fond du Lac, Ellen (Mark) Gottinger, Lamartine, Brian (Janet) Stark, Mount Calvary. Twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one sister, Geraldine (Carl) Rullmann, Milwaukee, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Milton "Zeke" Stark, Jr.,parents, two brother-in-laws, Alex Schultz and Edward Brzezinski.



VISITATION: Thursday, November 17,2005 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL : Thursday 17,2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Chaplain Bob Lantz officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post No.75 will conduct military graveside services.Memorials appreciated to Heartland Hospice.UECKER-WITT FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.
