Myrtle May Vetter

May 7, 1911 — September 21, 2005

Myrtle May Vetter, 94, died Wednesday, September 21, 2005, at her residence at 77 Wisconsin American Drive. She was born on May 7, 1911, in Brandon, the daughter of Richard and Ida Greunwald. Myrtle was a 1929 graduate of Brandon High School, and then graduated from Oshkosh Commercial College. She worked as a receptionist/aide for Dr. C.P. Reslock and Dr. H.K. Guth prior to her marriage to Dr. E. W. Vetter in Brandon on October 25, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1992. The Vetter's contributed to many charitable organizations. Myrt was an active member and served as treasurer of the Fond du Lac Service League, and was a member of the Women's Auxiliary for the American Medical Association.Relatives and friends survive Mrs. Vetter. Her parents, husband, and three brothers, Clarence, Marvin, and Harold "Mike" Greunwald, preceded her in death.



Memorial services will be held at the Cathedral of St. Paul on Monday, September 26. 2005, at 10:30 am. The Very Rev. Theodore McConnell will officiate. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in the cathedral columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Woodlands Senior Park, 77 Wisconsin American Drive, Fond du Lac, 54935. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
