OTTO W. SUTTEROtto W. Sutter, 94,died Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at the Fond du Lac County Health Care Facility-Rolling Meadows Unit. Otto was born on November 4, 1915 in Fond du Lac, the son of Henry and Frieda Kulbitz Sutter. On June 8, 1941, he married Isabel E. Bashford at Lincoln Park Lutheran Church, Milwaukee. Otto owned and operated Sutter Remo Printing, Rural Farmer Advertiser, Metal Photo Company, and owned several machine patents in the U.S and also Internationally. Otto was active in founding the Fond du Lac Industrial Park. He had his broker's license and built homes in Fond du Lac. Otto served three terms as Fond du Lac County Treasurer and also was a former Fond du Lac County Board Member. He was a lifetime member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church and served as Sunday School Superintendent for 20 years. He recently joined Hope Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Fond du Lac Noon Rotary, Fond du Lac Elks Club #57 B.P.O.E., the Houdini Professional Magicians Club, where he served as President. Otto volunteered with his wife at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. He enjoyed wood and metalworking.SURVIVORS: include his wife, Isabel Sutter, Fond du Lac, one daughter, Barbara (Dan) Bednarski, Cedarburg, one son, William (Mary Jo) Sutter, Chicago, IL, two grandchildren, Sarah (Al) Dahl, and Bob (Beth) Rasmussen. He is further survived by his special family; Glenn (Joyce) Rasmussen, LuAnne Johnson, Laura (Brian) O'Toole and Mike (Lisa) Bednar. Otto was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, William, three sisters and one brother.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Monday, September 20, 2010 at Hope Lutheran Church, 260 Vincent Street, Fond du Lac, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held Monday, September 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Hope Lutheran Church with Reverend Steven Huff officiating. Entombment will follow in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
