Patricia H. "Pat" Rebek

Patricia "Pat" H. Rebek, 84, of Fond du Lac, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Kindred Hearts, Fond du Lac. She was born November 23, 1922 in Houghton, MI, the daughter of William and Freda Miller Reichert. Patricia married Donald C. Rebek on June 14, 1947 in Milwaukee, WI and her beloved husband preceded her in death July 19, 1986 at the age of 64. At various times throughout her life she worked at Falk Manufacturing of Milwaukee, St. Agnes Hospital and Mercury Marine of Fond du Lac. She was an active member of Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph's Church and was involved with many activities, including Den Mother for Cub Scouting, volunteer at the local Loaves and Fishes program, Altar and Rosary Society member, praying of the rosary on the local radio station, secretary of the Friday night Merry Mixers bowling league, secretary of the Women's Bowling Association and co-directed with her husband, Holy Name Society entertainment programs. Pat's greatest legacy she has left to her children was her faith-filled life. She never turned down anyone who needed her; giving rides to appointments, sharing her craft projects or baking special treats are just small examples of her lifelong generosity. Pat was very active in her children and grandchildren's lives. She loved to attend many community activities that involved her family and was everyone's best supporter. Pat was also an avid crossword puzzle solver and could stand with the best of them when playing Sheepshead.



SURVIVORS: her children, Duane (Elaine) Rebek, Fond du Lac, Greg (Patann) Rebek, Neenah, Richard (Debbi) Rebek, Fond du Lac; 13 grandchildren, Eric (Kim) Rebek, Andrew (Teri) Rebek, Christa (Chris) Lewis, Timothy, Tyler, Emily, Karen, Jacqueline, Melanie, Stacy Rebeck, Angela (Joe) Thomas, Valerie and Stephanie Rebek; she was blessed with eight great-grandchildren. She is further survived by one brother, Paul (Doris) Reichert, Waukesha. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; daughter, Jeanette; grandson, Jason; sister, Marie Philbert; five brothers, William, Earl, Edward, Frank and Robert. VISITATION: will be from 4-8 PM on Monday, April, 9, 2007 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Tuesday, from 9-10am at the funeral home. The funeral services will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM at Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph's Church. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.The family extends a heartfelt thank you to all who cared for Mom; Doctors, Nurses, Creative Care Options Staff, Caregivers at Kindred Hearts, and finally, the comfort given by Hospice Hope. We celebrate Mom's life and thank everyone who loved and treasured her as much as we did. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
