Patricia M. Johannes

Patricia M. Johannes, 88, formerly of 504 Austin Lane, Fond du Lac, died Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born March 17, 1925 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Arwin and Marie Stroinski Piepenhagen. She graduated from Holy Angel's High School, Milwaukee and also attended Marquette University. She enjoyed belonging to a drama group located at the old St. Mary's Church on the east side of Milwaukee. On October 23, 1948 she married George Johannes of Port Washington. They enjoyed traveling during their marriage. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2012. She is survived by two daughters, Gerri Ann (Mark) Moeller, Fond du Lac and Kathleen (Troy) Cronce, Theresa; four grandchildren, Ryan Moeller, Katrina, Jasmine and Dayne Cronce; one brother, Arwin (Donna) Piepenhagen, Portage; three sisters-in-law, Mary (Wally) Dowe, Janis Repphun and Loretta Johannes; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.



The visitation will be held from 12:00 noon "“ 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Sacred Heart Church. The mass of Christian burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Sacred Heart Church, Holy Family Parish, Fond du Lac. Burial will take place in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Milwaukee.
