Patrick L. Wang

Patrick L. Wang, age 62, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at St. Agnes Hospital due to complications of lung cancer. He was born on March 5, 1955 in Fond du Lac, the son of Harry and Lorraine (Murphy) Wang. Patrick was a 1973 graduate of St. Mary’s Springs. On January 16, 1999 he married Geri Helms in Fond du Lac. Patrick worked for fifteen years at Stainless Manufacturing and Design in Brandon. He loved his dog Libby, boating, fishing, cruising and traveling to tropical islands with his wife and her family, especially St. Maarten. Patrick was a gentle soul and had a great sense of humor and he was very proud of his last four years of sobriety.



Survivors include his wife Geri of Fond du Lac; one daughter, Amy Wang and three grandchildren, Breanna, Chase, and Natasha Wang all of San Diego, CA; his siblings, Mary (Jack) Fisher of Fond du Lac, Maggie (Chuck) Zettel of PA, David (Stacy) Wang of Phoenix, AZ; sister-in-law, Jeannie Wang of Omaha, NE; father-in-law, Rodney Helms of Appleton; sister-in-law, Patti (Dennis) Vandeburgt of Neenah; brother-in-law, Dave (Ellen) Helms of Appleton; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Mike Wang; and his mother-in-law, Maria Helms.



Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 4-7 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
