Paul R. Wirtz

Paul R. Wirtz, 58, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Fond du Lac, the son of Eugene and Lois Hankwitz Wirtz. Paul worked as a custodian for several businesses in the area. He had a love for music that spanned different genres, but hard rock was a favorite. He enjoyed long walks, bike rides, comedy and action movies, and professional wrestling. The latter being a contrast to Paul’s gentle soul.



He is survived by four siblings, Mike (Medelice) Wirtz, Sue (Charles) Laurenti, Steve Wirtz, and Scott Wirtz; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ann Kohli.



Cremation has taken place and private services will be held with burial in Estabrooks Cemetery.
