Paul William Schulz

d. March 12, 2017

Paul William Schulz, 68, went home to be with the Lord on March 12, 2017. He battled renal cell carcinoma valiantly but succumbed to the disease surrounded by family at his home in Fond du Lac.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kirsten (Kiki); daughters Erin (John) Perham of Hales Corners, WI, Emily (Tom) Laukkanen of St. Paul, MN and Allison Gossman of Fond du Lac. His grandchildren Harper Perham, Lincoln Gossman and Ruby Laukkanen will remember him for his warm hugs and playfulness. He is further survived by his mother, Eunice, and his sister Ann (Tim) Wiersum and other relatives.

Paul was an elementary school teacher for 43 years. He loved what he did and loved all his students. Recently retired, he enjoyed sailing lessons on Green Lake, trips to Door County, reading, riding his Trek bike around town, volunteering in discharge at the Fond du Lac Clinic, ministering to his shut-ins with his good friend Pastor Borgwardt, and being with his family.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 1-2:30 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 606 Forest Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 2:30 PM at the church officiated by Pastor James Borgwardt. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the Redeemer Preschool Fund.
