Pauline M. Parish

Pauline M. Parish, 66, of 17 Sammy Jo Circle, Fond du Lac, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 2, 2008, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born January 21, 1942, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Victor and Hazel Stroup Pfalzgraf. On July 1, 1961, she married Kenneth F. Parish in Dubuque, Iowa. Pauline was a member of Church of Peace-United Church of Christ. For many years, Pauline worked at the 101 Club and later the Holiday Inn before going into the real estate business, working mainly for Adashun-Jones Real Estate. She loved to play cards, visiting the casinos, her West-Highland Terriers, and being with her grandchildren.Surviving is her husband, Ken, a daughter, LuAnn (Tim) Hjelle of Malone, two granddaughters, Lisa and Karen Hjelle, both of Malone, and two sisters, Amy (James) Mitchell and Diane (Special Friend Grant) Silva, both of Fond du Lac. Further surviving are three brothers-in-law, Robert (Gabriella) Parish, Lawrence (Lynette) Parish, and Alan (Diane) Parish, all of Fond du Lac, and five sisters-in-law, Bonnie Parish, Mary Rogler, Kathy (Roy) Moon, and Mary Jane Parish, all of Fond du Lac, and Dagmar Parish of Kalispell, MT. Many nieces and nephews also survive her. Her parents, mother and father-in-law, Frank and Catherine Parish, a sister-in-law, Mae Parish, and six brothers-in-law, Lyman, Joe, John, and Richard Parish, and LeRoy Rogler and Al Silva preceded her in death.



Visitation for Pauline M. Parish will be on Monday, May 5, 2008, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, from 10 to 11 am at the Church of Peace, 158 S. Military Road, Fond du Lac. The Revs. Jennifer C.M. Dawson and James F.D. Martin will officiate and burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
