Petronilla "Pat" T. Stenz

Petronilla “Pat” T. Stenz, 87, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, December 15, 2017 at Woodlands Senior Park. She was born December 25, 1929 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Clemens and Loretta Weber Bertram. On March 30, 1948 she married Sylvester “Paul” Freund and he preceded her in death on November 8, 1983. Pat married Sylvester Stenz on July 26, 1985 and he preceded her in death on January 5, 2011. She was a member of Holy Family Parish. Pat volunteered at St. Agnes Hospital and for the Red Cross. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crossword puzzles, and birds.



She is survived by six children, Ronald (Marcia) Freund of Schertz, TX, Thomas (Judy) Friend of Portland, OR, Mary Ellen “Toots” Thorn of West Bend, John (Diane) Freund of Fond du Lac, Steven Freund of Fond du Lac, and Robert Freund of Roy, WA; three step children, John Stenz of Fond du Lac, Susan (Tom) Reich of Fond du Lac, and Katherine (John) Ehret of Grayslake, IL; eight grandchildren, Lisa (Robert) Schulze, Tina Freund, Douglas (Julie) Freund, Nicholas Freund, Sarah (Chris) Strysick, Joshua Freund, Adam Freund, and Yvonne Freund; three step grandchildren, Wade (Leann) Reich, Karl Reich, and Emily Ehret; fifteen great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ann Flood of Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; son-in-law, Raymond Thorn; sister, Sr. Lucille Bertram CSA; brother, Cyril (Lynda) Bertram; and brother-in-law, Richard Flood.



The visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Sacred Heart Church, Holy Family Parish.



The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Parish Cemetery in St. Peter.
