Rachel A. Beachy

Rachel A. Gedlinske Schneider Beachy, 52, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, June 20, 2014 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born June 23, 1961 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of David J. and Shirley J. Ruch Gedlinske. Rachel graduated from Goodrich High School in 1979. On September 14, 2013 she married Larry E. Beachy. Rachel worked for Mid States Aluminum for over 20 years. Rachel was very active, she enjoyed biking, traveling, being with friends, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.



She is survived by her husband, Larry; two daughters, Jillian (Gregory) Dwyer, Fond du Lac and Nicole Schneider, North Fond du Lac; three grandchildren, Eleanor, Viviene, and Kieley; her mother, Shirley Gedlinske, Fond du Lac. She is further survived by her seven siblings, Lisa (Brian) Berndt, Cartersville, GA, David Jr. (Jennifer) Gedlinske, Phoenix, AZ, Julie (David) Pixley, Fond du Lac, Eric (Diane) Gedlinske, Fond du Lac, Stephen (Misty) Gedlinske, Ashville, NC, Paul (Cindy) Gedlinske, Fond du Lac, Amy (Bob Ellis) Fischer, Fond du Lac; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, David; her maternal grandparents, Rueben and Marjorie Ruch; her paternal grandparents, Leo and Leone Gedlinske.



The visitation will be held from 3:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Saturday from 9:00 – 11:00 am at the funeral home. A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service.



A memorial is being established in Rachel’s name.
