Richard G. Thorp, 67, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, October 2, 2020 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born August 31, 1953 in Chilton, WI, the son of Douglas and Jalaine LaBuwi Thorp. He married Terry Parris on June 7, 1996. He served in the U.S. Army. Richard was an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed watching football, riding his motorcycle, and loved spending time with his family, especially with his brother, Douglas.



He is survived by two daughters, Cheyanne (Austin) Vande Zande of Fond du Lac and Lexy Thorp of Fond du Lac; brother, Douglas Thorp of Fond du Lac; sister, Vicki (Mark) Brown of Ripon; and niece, Jessica (Grant) Reinke of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Patricia Blake and Laurine Solfest; and three nephews, Dustin, Robby, and Kyle Thorp.



The visitation will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Due to Emergency Order #1 under Executive Order #82, masks are required while in attendance. Burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery.
