Robert H. "Bob" Haubrich

Robert H. “Bob” Haubrich, 43 of Fond du Lac, WI, died at home on Friday, September 2, 2016. He was born in Manor, PA on December 3, 1972, a son of Larry and Denise (Brecht) Haubrich. On August 22, 2014, Bob married Alaina Slominski in Fond du Lac.



Bob loved his family, especially his wife, Alaina, and children, Lauren and Ryker. His nationwide brotherhood of friends was like a second family.



Bob graduated from Hempfield Area Senior H.S. in Greensburg, PA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC), having been stationed at both the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, CA and at Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler in Okinawa, Japan. After being honorably discharged, Bob received his Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology, furthering his already vast capability of fixing and maintaining anything mechanical. Bob was employed in the maintenance division at Johnsonville Sausage for the previous 5 years. Currently, he was serving as an Industrial Electrician Apprentice at Johnsonville while attending classes at Fox Valley Technical College.



SURVIVORS include his wife, Alaina; his daughter, Lauren Haubrich (and her mother, Victoria Decicco); and his son, Ryker Haubrich; brother, Jeremy; sister, Charity; father, Larry; paternal grandmother, Beatrice Haubrich; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Thomas Haubrich; and his uncle and close friend, Richard Haubrich.



VISITATION for Bob will be held Monday, September 5, 2016 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. FUNERAL SERVICE will begin at 5:00 PM. Military honors will be presented by the American Legion, Trier-Puddy Post #75. Cremation will follow the services. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Manor, PA.



In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Bob’s children.
