Robert J. Snyder

Robert J. Snyder, 87, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, January 13, 2018 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born February 7, 1930 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, the son of Edward and Teresa (Wituck) Snyder. He graduated from Goodrich High School in 1948. He married Sharon Uquhart in 1963. Robert served in the National Guard from 1947 – 1955 and joined the U.S. Army and served from 1956 – 1968. He worked for Motor Transport and Roadway driving semi truck for 25 years. Robert married Pearl Warner April of 2007 and she preceded him in death on May 10, 2010. He was a lifetime member of the American Motor Cycling Association and loved gardening and fishing.



He is survived by two daughters, Patti (Jon) Beck of Phoenix, AZ and Becky (Ronald) Catman of Jacksonville, FL; three grandchildren, Ashley Beck, Alex Beck, and Brittany Tan; his sister, Joan (Lee) Liveri of North Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pearl; his grandson, Christopher Tan; and a brother, Jay Snyder.



Private family entombment has taken place at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
