Robert S. Lietz, Sr., 81 of N10278 Gulig Road, Malone, died Friday, August 24, 2012 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on October 1, 1930 in Fond du Lac the son of Stephen and Hattie Ziebel Lietz. On September 5, 1953 he married Marleen A. Dunn at the Church of Peace. Marleen preceded him in death on November 28, 2003. Robert was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army. He was a machinist working at Wells Manufacturing and later with Mercury Marine from where he retired after 25 years. He enjoyed fishing and his two dogs Tina and Jubilee.SURVIVORS: Robert is survived by six children; Stephen Lietz, Little Suamico, Linda Vogds, North Fond du Lac, Robert (Florita) Lietz, Fond du Lac, James Lietz, Fond du Lac, Alan (Sandy) Lietz, Fond du Lac, Mary Snakenburg, New Holstein, 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He is further survived by one sister, Dolores Hanson, Fond du Lac and two brothers, Ronald (Pat) Lietz, Fond du Lac and Donald (Sharon) Lietz, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a grandson Chad Warner, a great-grandson Michael Lietz, one sister Betty Abraham and two brother-in-laws, John Hanson and Marvin Abraham.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Friday, August 31, 2012 from 4-7 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Reverend Gerald Schrankler officiating. Burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery.Trier-Puddy American Legion Post No.75 will conduct military graveside services.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
