Rolland L. "Bud"/"Mac" McCullochRolland L. "Bud"/"Mac" McCulloch, 76, of 523 Sarah Drive, Fond du Lac, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at Zilber Family Hospice, Wauwatosa. He was born January 15, 1930, in Fond du Lac, the son of Lovell and Luella Pomerville McCulloch, Sr. On November 3, 1951, he married Donna Irish in Waupun. He and his wife moved to Fond du Lac in 1999. Mr. McCulloch was a member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ. His hobby was building fine furniture for his church, family, and friends. "Bud" also enjoyed bowling, fishing, bird watching, and stained glass making. He retired as a corporate consultant for Briggs & Stratton after many years of service. "Mac" was an early leader in the application of the Lean Manufacturing process. Among his accomplishments were the founding of the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) of which he was a past president, the creation of "Target" Magazine, past officer and very active member of the Waukesha Noon Lions Club, membership in the Waukesha Elks Club, founder and president of the Winnebago Woodworkers Club of Fond du Lac, and past president of S.E. WI Chapter of the American Production and Inventory Control Society. "Mac" also coached several Little League teams in the Waukesha area. Surviving is his wife, Donna, three sons, David (Evanne) McCulloch of Wauwatosa, Steven (Carol) McCulloch of Olympia, WA, and Jeffrey (Jacki) McCulloch of the Town of Genesse, Waukesha County, and five grandchildren, Bryan, Katie, Joshua, Kelsea, and Alexandar. A brother, Glen McCulloch of Kenosha, and two sisters, Jean Michels of Brownsville, and Delores Buchda, of Phoenix, AZ, further survive him. His parents and a brother, Lovell McCulloch, preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. Rolland L. McCulloch will be on Friday, July 21, 2006, from 5 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and on Saturday, from 9 to 10 am at Pilgrim United Church of Christ. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 10 am at the church. The Rev. Ted Drewsen will officiate and burial will be in Forest Mound Cemetery, Waupun.
