Romilda L. Krueger

Romilda L. Krueger, age 90, Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services. She was born on May 15, 1924 in Taycheedah, the daughter of Charles and Agnes (Michels) Hess. She was a 1943 graduate of Fond du Lac High School. On June 26, 1947 she married Donald F. Krueger. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1989. Romilda and her husband were farmers in the Town of Empire until his death. She was a member of the Empire Social Club, Birthday Club, and the We love to dance club. She enjoyed crafts and old time music. Romilda was a member of St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church.

SURVIVORS: six children, Kathleen (Dan) Guell of Sheboygan Falls, Karen (Neil) Bub of Chilton, Kenneth (Nancy) Krueger of Appleton, Kevin (Kim) Krueger of Fond du Lac, Keith (Rose) Krueger of Fond du Lac, and Kelly (Ken) Scheiderer of Edgar, WI; grandchildren, Krisandra (Steve) Sommerfeld, Tara (special friend Andy Karpinski) Guell, Shauna Guell, Jessica Hilt, Jamie (Jeff) Lodes, Janelle (Adam) King, John (Erin) Krueger, Cheryl Krueger, Kevin (fiance Heather) Krueger, Kyle (special friend Lisa) Krueger, Lindsay (fiancé Michael Smet) Miller, Vicky (Steven) Lui, Ashley (Mike) Whitman, Trevor Scheiderer; twenty-four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Agnes Doyle, and Carol (Larry) Maas; one sister in law, Karen Hess. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Shirley Wojahn and Mary Schneider; and two brothers, Charles Hess and Joseph Hess.

VISITATION: Monday, April 6, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. FUNERAL: Monday, April 6, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.
