Ronald J. Jurgensmier,70 of Fond du Lac, died Friday, May 31, 2013 at his residence. He was born on March 22, 1943 in the Town of Oakfield the son of Erhardt and Cecelia Loehr Jurgensmier Blake. On October 1, 1966 he married Sharon I. Gauger at St. Martin's Church, Ashford. Ronald was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Army in the signal corps. He was a machinist with Giddings & Lewis for 41 years retiring in 2009. He was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church and the G & L Oldsters. Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, word search, and watching western movies and shows. He was also a fan of the Packers and Brewers.SURVIVORS: Ronald is survived by his wife, Sharon Jurgensmier, Fond du Lac, three children, Pat (Kathy) Jurgensmier, Fond du Lac, Andrew (Lori) Jurgensmier, Fond du Lac, Pam Jurgensmier, Fond du Lac, five grandchildren, Shelby, Sydney, Brooke, Sean and Katie, one step-brother Eddie (Mary Beth) Blake, Valders, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Karen Jurgensmier, St. Cloud, Barb Resop, Fond du Lac, Bob Gauger, Fond du Lac, Mary Jo Gauger, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Ray (Elaine) Thelen, Campbellsport, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Erhardt Jurgensmier, mother, Cecelia Jurgensmier Blake and step-father Sherman Blake, infant brother Joseph, two brothers Norbert, George, one sister Mary Ann and many special brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Monday, June 3, 2013 from 4-8 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of services. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church, 20 Wisconsin American Drive, Fond du Lac. Reverend Beth Macha will officiate. Burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post No.75 will conduct military graveside services.Memorials appreciated to Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church or Agnesian Hospice Hope.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
