Ronald J Singleton, 61, a lifelong resident of Fond du Lac, entered the gates of heaven on May 28, 2008 at the VA Medical Hospital in Milwaukee.Ronald was born on October 22, 1946 to the son of the late (Glenn) and June Singleton, He was a brother to Michelle (Ted) Agnello and Debbie (Michael) Turner. He attended grade school and was a graduate of Goodrich High School in 1965 in Fond du Lac and then went to MPTC for 2 years.On October 4, 1969 he entered into marriage to Renee A Singleton (Sparks) and had two daughters Jodi and Nan. Several years later in July of 1981, he married Carmen Singleton (Valtierra-Rivera) and three sons Glenn, Rick, David and two daughters Olivia and Christina.Ronald J. Singleton proudly served in the United States Air Force as a policeman during the Vietnam War.Ronald or affectionally known as Ronny, was a truck driver for Kreilkamp in Allenton, Wisconsin. He also worked at Fleet Farm and Mautz paint. He was also very active in the Mexican-American club in Fond du Lac and served as president. He was a member of the American Legion Trier-puddy Post 75 of FDL. and was Past Commander 1988-1990, Charter Member of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 75 of FDL and belonged to the VFW, and the Elks,Our dad was known for his sense of humor and the ability to make everyone smile. He loved fishing and listening to Johnny Cash and he enjoyed on the open road, driving his semi truck. He will be sorely missed.He is survived by his mother, June Singleton; two sisters Michelle (Ted) Agnello Debbie (Michael) Turner; three daughters: Christina Singleton of Fond du Lac, Jodi (Roger) Beauchene of Fargo, ND, Nan (Brad) Abell of Bedford, Texas; two sons Glenn and David Singleton of Fond du Lac; Nine grandchildren: Michael. Kevin, Bryce, Jeff, Brandon, Leslie, Dylan, Taylor, and Dominic and several nieces and nephews and cousins and his special friends his girlfriend Penny Nix of Hudson, North Carolina and Brandon Aguirre-Valtierra who was like another son to him and Jared Kosikowski.He was preceded in death by his father Glenn Singleton and his daughter Olivia and son Rick Singleton.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Sunday, June 1, 2008 from 4-8 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 North Park Avenue, and Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held Monday, June 2, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Deacon Ricardo Munoz will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
