Roy K. Euhardy

October 27, 1920 — March 4, 2007

Roy Karl Euhardy, 86, of 545 Luco Road, formerly of 708 Florida Avenue, North Fond du Lac, departed this life for his heavenly home on Sunday, March 4, 2007 after a courageous three year battle with cancer. He was born on October 27, 1920, the son of John and Anna Lange Euhardy in the town of Matteson. On October 26, 1946 he married Gladys Gaertig. Roy graduated from North Fond du Lac High School. He served his country in the United States Army, a member of the 233rd AAA Searchlight Battalion of WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post 156, North Fond du Lac and the DAV. He worked on the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad for 42 years, retiring in June 1984. He was a member of Church of our Savior Ev. Lutheran, serving as an usher and was an avid dartball player for many years. SURVIVORS: his wife of 60 years, Gladys; three children, Susan (John) Wilson, Clintonville, Kay Stubbe, Fond du Lac, Steven (Maureen) Euhardy, Madison; six grandchildren, John (Kristi) Wilson, Clintonville, Jennifer (Randy) Uttecht, Wausau, Barbara (Richard) Blakely, Belleville, MMC SW/AW Jeffry Rice, U.S. Navy stationed on board the USS Denver out of San Diego, CA, Michael (Gina) Euhardy, Mt. Horeb, Daniel Euhardy, Madison; seven great- grandchildren, Jason, Joshua, Jesse and Jasmine Wilson, Aliexis and Alaina Uttecht, Alexander and Aaron Blakely. He is further survived by tow sisters, Margaret LaRoche, Crystal Lake, IL, Dorothy Schultz, North Fond du Lac; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Euhardy; one brother, Melvin Euhardy; three sisters, Carrie Krueger, Viola Francis and Elsie Krueger; four brothers-in-law; one son-in-law, Eldon Stubbe.



VISITATION: will be on Saturday, March 10, 2007 from 10-11AM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held 11AM on Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Rosenberg officiating. Cremation has taken place.The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. David Bowman, Dr. Richard Windsor, St. Agnes Hospice Hope staff and the staff of Lake View Assisted Living for their excellent care of my husband, father, and grandfather this past week.In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Agnes Hospice Hope would be appreciated.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
