Rudolph A. Kollmann

Rudolph A. Kollmann Sr, age 92, died on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. He was born on September 23, 1920 in Oakfield, the son of August A. and Marie B. (Busovitz) Kollmann. On December 18, 1941 he married Alpha R. Greene at St. Luke's in Oakfield. She preceded him in death on November 30, 2003. Rudolph worked for over thirty years at Rueping Leather Co. He was a member of Faith Ev. Lutheran Church. Rudolph was hard working and always helping people. He was a devoted father and was always there for his children. His family was the love of his life.SURVIVORS: nine children, Rudolph A. Kollmann Jr, of Milwaukee, Judith (Joseph) Eggers of Fond du Lac, Violette (Keith) Pautsch of Fond du Lac, Nancy (Doug) Weckwerth of Fond du Lac, Gloria (James) Eggers of Oak Center, Lora Moss of Fond du Lac, Samuel (Linda) Kollmann of Fond du Lac, James (Anne) Kollmann of Plymouth, and Mary (Ron) Eagan of Oshkosh, eighteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, one brother, Carlyle Kollmann of Oakfield, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, five brothers, and five sisters.



VISITATION: Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 4-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 12 noon at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, 55 N. Prairie Rd, Fond du Lac with the Reverend Joel Gaertner officiating. Burial will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park. Friends may call on Thursday at the church from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services.Special thanks to the staff at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home and to the members of Faith Ev.
