Russell E. FossRussell E. Foss, 86, of 162 Southlake Circle, died Thursday, May 18, 2006, at the Hospice Home of Hope. He was born July 9, 1919, in Westboro, WI, the son of William and Ella Foss Kloak. On June 8, 1946, he married Wanda Mae Jones in Fond du Lac. Mr. Foss was a former member of the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) and was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps serving during WW II in Pacific Theatre and was discharged as a Sergeant. He was formerly employed by the Northern Casket Company, and retired from Mercury Marine after 35 years of service, retiring in 1979. He was a member of International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Lodge #1947, and enjoyed attending their retirees meetings.Surviving is his wife, Wanda Mae, six daughters, Linda S. Searl of Oakfield, Nancy L. (George) Beirne of Fond du Lac, Jean M. Johnson of Roseville, CA, JoAnn Smith of Fond du Lac, Ellen K. (Walter) Zinniel of Fond du Lac, and Wendy M. (Fiancé David Hren) Ennis of Bloomington, MN, one son, Daniel M. (Anna) Foss of Mt. Calvary, 18 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by a sister, Florence Balthazor of Fond du Lac, three brothers-in-law, Melvin (Sondra) Jones of Ripon, Claude (Special Friend Arlene Southard) Jones of Van Dyne, Gerald (Joanne) Jones of Atlanta, GA, and four sisters-in-law, Viola Foss of Fond du Lac, Patricia Klebs of Fond du Lac, Marilyn (Leonard) St. George of Mesa, AZ, and Dawn (Alan) Moss of North Fond du Lac. Nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive him. His parents, an infant daughter, Amy, two brothers, Everett and Keith Foss, a son-in-law, Allen Searl, and one sister-in-law, Rosella Foss preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. Russell E. Foss will be on Tuesday, May 23, 2006, from 9 to 11 am at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev.
