Ruth J. Schrimpf

Ruth J. Schrimpf, 88, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born May 13, 1930 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of John and Bertha Dachefske Hoffman. On April 10, 1958 she married Reinhard S. Schrimpf and he preceded her in death on May 15, 2012. Ruth enjoyed sewing, baking, her dogs, and loved spending time with her family.



She is survived by two sisters, Charlotte Wagner and Marion Hoffman, both of Fond du Lac; one brother, David Hoffman of Markesan; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Reinhard; and five brothers.



At Ruth’s request there will be no visitation or services. Cremation has taken place.
