Sharon L. Roark

Sharon L. Roark, 65, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, November 6, 2015 at Grancare Nursing Center. She was born November 26, 1949 in Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Phyllis Packelly Roark. Sharon graduated in 1973 from MSAC with a Bachelor in Nursing. She was a registered nurse for many years and was a loving caregiver to the Hamel children and to Joey Toeller. On May 16, 2009 she made a lifelong commitment with Carol A. Cooper at Sacred Heart. Sharon enjoyed gardening, traveling, dancing, crocheting, and was an avid violinist.



She is survived by her partner, Carol Cooper of Fond du Lac; two sisters, Paula (Ray) Villarreal of Keller, TX and Sue (Brian) Dykstra of Corona, CA; nieces and nephews, Jenny Villarreal, Andrew (Liz) Villarreal, Hannah Dykstra, and Casey Dykstra; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kathy Roark and brother, Gary Roark.



Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Sacred Heart Church, 200 S. Peters Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI 54935.



In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to Agnesian Hospice, 239 Trowbridge Drive, Fond du Lac, WI 54935.
