Shirley Mae Diener (Mecklenburg), Born August 13, 1946 passed away on November 3, 2006, after a 5 year battle with cancer. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her. Predeceased list (relatives who have died) Father "“ Walter Mecklenburg, husband Charles Floyd Diener, Sr.Survived by list: Mother "“ Lucille Mecklenburg of Fond du Lac Sons "“ Charles Jr. and Linette Diener (Post) of Fond du Lac Daughters "“ Pamela and Rob Giebel of Fond du Lac Grandchildren "“ Kyle and Brandon Diener, Ian and Jordan Giebel, and Step-grandchild Tony Manbeck Sisters "“ Carol and Merle Neumann of Waupaca, Gerry and Ken Walker of Fond du Lac, Mary and Bruce Watts of Fond du Lac, Brothers "“ Richard and Barb Mecklenburg of Friendship, Jim Mecklenburg (special friend Eileen) of Fond du Lac An Angel in Shirley's life was her niece Patti Walker; with whom we appreciate more than words can say. Shirley has been a dedicated employee of Buckstaff in Oshkosh for 32 years, working up until her death. Her grandchildren were the most important part of her life. She loved every minute of life and never stopped fighting. She never shed a tear and had faith that God was going to take care of her. Preceded in death by one sister-in-law Mary Mecklenburg. On behalf on Shirley and her family, we would like to thank all of you within our community who helped in any way. We will not soon forget you!



Family will receive friends from 4-5 pm on Friday, November 10, 2006 at Immanuel Trinity Church. Memorial services to follow at 5:00 P.M. at the church; with Rev. Douglas V. Hedman officiating. Cremation has taken place.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
